Door Glass
- Place vehicle on level surface. Check weather-stripping and glass run channel for damage or wear. Repair or replace as necessary. Remove door panel and plastic cover. See DOOR PANEL
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Raise power window until glass mounting bolts are accessible. Loosen mounting bolts. See Fig 1
. Push glass against rear lower channel and tighten glass mounting bolts.
- Ensure glass moves smoothly. Raise power window fully, and check for grasp. Ensure glass contacts glass run channel evenly. See Fig 2
.
- Check for water leaks. Run water over the roof and on the sealing area and note these items:
- Use a .5" (12 mm) diameter hose.
- Adjust the rate of water flow.
- Do not use a nozzle.
- Hold the hose about 12" (300 mm) away from the door.
- Attach the plastic cover, and reinstall the door panel. See DOOR PANEL
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
