Removal & Installation

VTC oil control solenoid valve is located at front of cylinder head.

  1. Disconnect 2-pin harness connector.
  2. Remove VTC oil control solenoid valve retaining bolt and remove valve.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure and use NEW "O" ring. Tighten valve to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
