TPMS Control Unit Replacement
NOTE:
Make sure the TPMS control unit mounting bracket is not bent or twisted as this may affect its communication with the indicators and the tire pressure sensors.
- Remove the dashboard lower cover on the driver's side (see INSTRUMENT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Remove the clip (A) and disconnect the TPMS control unit connectors (B).
2004 model:

2005-2006 models:
- Remove the TPMS control unit with the bracket (C).
- Remove the TPMS control unit (A) from the bracket (B).
2004 model:

2005-2006 models:
- Install the TPMS control in the reverse order of removal.
- Connect the HDS, and memorize the pressure sensor IDs (see MEMORIZING THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID ). Do not memorize the IDs automatically.
