Bench Testing: Brushes

Measure the length of both brushes with a vernier caliper. See Fig 1 for K20A3 Engine, see Fig 2 for K20A2 Engine. If either brush is shorter than the service limit, replace the rear housing assembly. If brush length is OK, go to ROTOR SLIP RING TEST .
