Navigation Unit Removal/Installation

NOTE:

If possible, have the customer record any personal information from the navigation system that will be lost.
If the navigation unit is replaced or disconnected, a Map Matching must be done (see MAP MATCHING ).

Remove the trim lining (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - TRUNK AREA ).
Remove the DVD-ROM (see FORCED STARTING OF DISPLAY ).
Remove the four screws (A) from the bracket (B) located in the trunk.

Disconnect the navigation unit connectors (C).
Remove the navigation unit (D).
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Install the DVD-ROM, then enter the 4-digit security code.
Do the system initialization (see SYSTEM INITIALIZATION ).
Give the new anti-theft code to the customer.
