DTC B1202: Climate Control Unit Internal Error

NOTE:

Check the battery condition (see BATTERY TEST ) and the charging system (see CHARGING SYSTEM INDICATOR CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING ).
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN system diagnosis test mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING -- B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A ).

Clear the DTCs using the HDS.
Turn the ignition switch OFF then ON.
Turn the climate control system on and operate several functions (A/C on/off, air mix and blend door operations, temperature settings etc.).
Check the DTCs by selecting the DTC MENU (DTCs) from the HDS.
Is DTC B1202 indicated?
1. YES - The climate control unit is faulty, replace the climate control unit.
2. NO - Intermittent failure, the climate control unit is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at climate control unit connector A (20P) and B (16P).
