Alternator Removal and Installation: Installation
- Install the three bolts securing the alternator.

- Connect the alternator connector (A) and BLK wire (B) to the alternator. Make sure the crimped side of the ring terminal faces away from the starter when you connect it.

- Install the auto-tensioner (see DRIVE BELT AUTO-TENSIONER REPLACEMENT
).
- Install the drive belt (see DRIVE BELT INSPECTION
).
- Connect the negative cable to the battery.
- Enter the anti-theft codes for the audio system and the navigation system (if equipped), then enter the audio presets. Set the clock (on vehicles without navigation).
