DTC B1155: Gauge Control Module Lost Communication with Combination Switch Control Unit (Headlight Switch Message)

NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1155 indicated ?
YES -Go to step 4.
NO -Intermittent failure. The gauge control system is OK at this time. Check pin fits and connections.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1007 or B1062, B1555 also indicated?
YES -Go to Combination Switch Control Unit Input Test (see COMBINATION SWITCH CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST ).
NO -Go to Gauge Control Module Input Test (see GAUGE CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST ).
