- When both the negative pressure (no boost) area determination (P1233) and high throttle (boost) area determination (P1234) are NG, it is judged as a turbocharger boost sensor characteristic abnormality.
- When both the negative pressure (no boost) area determination (P1233) and high throttle (boost) area determination (P1234) are normal determination, and when the difference of negative pressure area determination and high throttle area determination (P1234) is a specified output or less.
When the fluctuation value of the turbocharger boost sensor measured at each detection of negative pressure area determination and high throttle area determination, a stuck failure is detected.
