Malfunction Threshold

A malfunction is detected if these three conditions are present after the engine and the ignition switch have been off for at least 6 hours before restarting the engine.

• When the temperature difference between the IAT2 and ECT1 is 48 °F (27 °C) or more.
• When the temperature difference between the IAT2 and ECT2 is 52 °F (29 °C) or more.
• When the temperature difference between the ECT2 and ECT1 is 75 °F (42 °C) or more.
