DTC B2155: Driver's MPCS Unit Lost Communication with MICU (MICU Message); DTC B2156: Driver's MPCS Unit Lost Communication with MICU (MIRRORSW Message)
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
- Wait for 6 seconds or more.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B2155 and/or B2156 indicated?
YES - Go to step 5.
NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections between the driver's MPCS unit and the MICU.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1055, B1157, B1255, B1605, B1806, B1810, B1855, and/or B2107 also indicated?
YES - Faulty MICU, replace the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box (see DRIVER'S UNDER-DASH FUSE/RELAY BOX (MICU) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
NO - Do the driver's MPCS unit input test (see DRIVER'S MPCS UNIT INPUT TEST ).
