DTC B1250: Communication Bus Line Error (BUS Off)
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1250 indicated?
YES -Go to step 4.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections at combination switch control unit connector (8P), and at under-dash fuse/relay box connector X (39P).
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1000 indicated?
YES -Troubleshoot DTC B1000.
NO -If the B1250 is indicated, replace the combination switch control unit.
