Initiator Replacement: Front

  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode
  2. Raise the front of the vehicle, and support it with safety stands in the proper locations (see LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS )
  3. Remove the front wheel
  4. Remove the front inner fender (see FRONT INNER FENDER REPLACEMENT )
  5. Disconnect the initiator connector (A)

  6. Remove the initiator (B) from the bracket
  7. Install the new initiator in the reverse order of removal
