NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST )
- This navigation DTC sets when a problem (open or short) is detected in the GA-Net BUS.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION )
- Check the most recent DTC (see HOW TO CHECK ERROR HISTORY )
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, then back to ON (II), or the ON mode

Is Hard Error 2601 indicated at the time you cycled the vehicle?
YES -Do the 2601 troubleshooting
NO -Go to step 4
- Go into the Diagnostic Menu, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu (see SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC MODE )
- Check the System Links
Is the XM icon red?
YES -Go to step 6
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode
- Check for poor connections or loose terminals at these items
- Navigation display unit 32P connector
- XM receiver connector A (14P) and B (2P)
Are the connections OK?
YES -Go to step 8
NO -Repair poor connections or loose terminals
- Disconnect these items
- XM receiver connector A (14P)
- Audio-navigation unit connector C (14P)
- Connect XM receiver connector A (14P) terminals No 9 and No 10 with a jumper wire
- Check for continuity between navigation display unit 32P connector terminals No 24 and No 25

Is there continuity?
YES -Do the XM receiver troubleshooting
NO -There is an open in the wire(s) between the XM receiver and the audio-navigation unit Replace the affected shielded harness
