Audio system information does not display on the audio-navigation switch panel display (with navigation)
- Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST )
- Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals
- Remove the audio-navigation switch panel (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Check the connections at the audio-navigation switch panel 24P connector and audio-navigation unit connector F (12P)
Are the connectors and terminals connected properly?
YES -Go to step 3
NO -Repair the connection, and recheck
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode

Is there battery voltage?
YES -Go to step 5
NO -Repair open in the wire between the No 15 (10 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box and audio-navigation switch panel 24P connector terminal No 22, or repair open in the wire between the No 16(7 5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and the audio-navigation switch panel 24P connector terminal No 21

Is there less than 0.2 V?
YES -Go to step 6
NO -Repair open or high resistance in the wire between audio-navigation switch panel 24P connector terminal No 10 and body ground (G501) (see AUDIO WIRE HARNESS )
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode
- Disconnect audio-navigation unit connector F (12P)
- Check for continuity between audio-navigation unit connector F (12P) and the audio-navigation switch panel 24P connector according to the tableAUDIO-NAVIGATION SWITCH PANEL CONNECTOR REFERENCE CHART

Is there continuity?
YES -Go to step 9
NO -There is an open in the wire(s) between the audio-navigation unit and the audio-navigation switch panel Repair or replace the affected shielded harness
- Check for continuity between the terminals of the audio-navigation switch panel 24P connector and body ground according to the tableAUDIO-NAVIGATION SWITCH PANEL CONNECTOR REFERENCE CHART

Is there continuity?
YES -There is a short in the wires between the audio-navigation unit and the audio-navigation switch panel Repair or replace the affected shielded harness
NO -Go to step 10
- Check for continuity between the terminals of audio-navigation switch panel 24P connector according to the tableTERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

Is there continuity between any of the terminals?
YES -There is a short in the wires between the audio-navigation unit and the audio-navigation switch panel Replace the affected shielded harness
NO -Substitute a known-good audio-navigation switch panel (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ), and recheck If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original audio-navigation switch panel.If the symptom is still present, substitute a known-good audio-navigation unit (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ), and recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away, replace the original audio-navigation unit
