DTC 1102: USB Diag

NOTE:
- This navigation DTC sets when a problem is detected with the USB.
- Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST ).
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ).
- Connect the USB device to the USB jack
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode
- Go into the Self-Diagnosis mode, and use the USB Memory info (see
UNIT CHECK (QUICK CHECK) ) to check the USB device status
Is the USB device information displayed?
YES -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time
NO -Go to step 4
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode
- Disconnect the USB device, then reconnect it
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
- Go into the Self-Diagnosis mode, and use the USB Memory info (see
UNIT CHECK (QUICK CHECK) ) to check the USB device status.
Is the USB device information displayed?
YES -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time
NO -Go to step 8
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
- Disconnect the USB device, then connect a known-good USB device to the USB jack.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
- Go into the Self-Diagnosis mode, and use the USB Memory info (see
UNIT CHECK (QUICK CHECK) ) to check the USB device status.
Is the USB device information displayed?
YES -Original USB device is faulty
NO -Go to step 12
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
- Make sure the USB device, the USB jack, and audio-navigation unit connector K (7P) are properly connected.
Are the connectors properly connected?
YES -Go to step 14
NO -Reconnect the connectors, and recheck
- Disconnect the USB device
- Disconnect audio-navigation unit connector K (7P)
- Check for continuity between audio-navigation unit connector K (7P) and the USB jack according to the tableCONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART
Audio-navigation unit connector USB jack USB VBUS K1 1 USB DATA- K2 2 USB DATA+ K3 3 USB GND K4 4 USB SH K5 5 Is there continuity?
YES -Replace the audio-navigation unit (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
NO -There is an open in the wire(s) between the audio-navigation unit and the USB jack Replace the affected shielded harness
