Rear Power Window Switch Test

- Remove the rear door panel (see REAR DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ), and disconnect the 14P connector from the switch
- Test the rear power window switch
- When the power is connected to terminal No 2 and ground is connected to terminal No 14 There should be continuity between terminals No 8 and No 1
- When the power is connected to terminal No 6 and ground is connected to terminal No 14 There should be continuity between terminals No 8 and No 7
- When the power is connected to terminal No 8 and ground is connected to terminal No 14, then push the rear power window switch to DOWN There should be continuity between terminals No 8 and No 1
- When the power is connected to terminal No 8 and ground is connected to terminal No 14, then pull the rear power window switch to UP There should be continuity between terminals No 8 and No 7
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch (see Rear Power Window Switch Replacement )
