DTC B1158: Gauge Control Module Lost Communication with Relay Module

NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTC's, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN system diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs using the HDS.
- Cycle the ignition switch to OFF, and then back ON.
- Check for DTCs by selecting the DTCs MENU (DTCs) from the HDS.
Is DTC B1158 indicated?
YES - Go to step 4.
NO - Intermittent failure. The gauge control system is OK at this time. Check pin fits and connections.
- Check for DTCs by the DTCs MENU (DTCs) of the HDS.
Is DTC B1005 also indicated?
YES - Go to RELAY CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST .
NO - Go to GAUGE CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST .
