DTC B1613: Malfunction of Communication With Driver's MPCS Unit; DTC B1614: Malfunction of Communication With Driver's MPCS Unit; DTC B1615: Malfunction of Communication With Driver's MPCS Unit
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Touch the door outer handle switch to lock the door.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1613, B1614, and/or B1615 indicated?
YES -Go to step 4.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1013, B1014, B1015, B1064, B1065, B1181, B1182, and B1811 also indicated?
YES -Do the driver's MPCS unit input test (see DRIVER'S MPCS UNIT INPUT TEST ).
NO -Replace the keyless access control unit (see KEYLESS ACCESS CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST/REPLACEMENT ).
