Interface Dial Removal/Installation

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
Lay a shop towel under the parts when working on them to protect the face panel from scratches or other damage.

Remove the audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION AND HVAC SWITCH PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Remove the self-tapping screws and the harness cover (A).

Disconnect the interface dial 13P connector (A), then pull up the interface dial (B) a little with KTC trim tool as shown until the click sound is heard.

Pull the interface dial (A) slowly and steadily by hand until the knob (B) and the dial (C) pops off.

Install the dial in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: If the hard buttons do not work, but the jog dial does, recheck the interface dial connector (D) connection.
