DTC B2155: Driver's MPCS Unit Lost Communication with MICU (MICU Message); DTC B2156: Driver's MPCS Unit Lost Communication with MICU (MIRRORSW Message); DTC B2161: Driver's MPCS Unit Lost Communication with MICU (DOORSW Message)
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
- Wait for at least 6 seconds.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B2155, B2156, and/or B2161 indicated?
YES -Go to step 5.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections between the driver's MPCS unit and the MICU.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1055, B1057, B1157, B1159, B1255, B1355, B1806, B1810, B1811, and/or B1955 also indicated?
YES -Faulty MICU, replace the under-dash fuse/relay box REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
NO -Do the driver's MPCS unit input test
