Control Unit Input Test/Replacement
NOTE:
Before testing, check the No. 2(OP1) (40 A) fuse in the main under-hood fuse box, the No. 30 (10 A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box, and the No. 4 (20 A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box.
- Remove the center console trim (see CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Disconnect the 37P connector (A) from the seat ventilation control unit (B), then detach the clips (C).
- Loosen the bolts (D).
- Remove the nut (E), then pull out the bracket (F).
- Remove the bolts (G), then remove the seat ventilation control unit.
- Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
- If the terminals are bent, loose, or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
- If the terminals look OK, go to step 7.
- Reconnect the 37P connector to the control unit, and do the following input tests:
- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 8.

24 LT BLU Ignition switch ON (II), front passenger's seat ventilation switch HEAT side pressed Measure the voltage to ground: There should be battery voltage. - Poor ground (G605) or an open in the ground wire

37 RED Ignition switch ON (II), driver's seat ventilation switch HEAT side pressed Measure the voltage to ground: There should be battery voltage. - Poor ground (G602) or an open in the ground wire

- Disconnect the 37P connector from the control unit, and do the following input tests:
- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, the control unit must be faulty; replace it.
