Unit Check (Quick Check): GPS

If GPS indicates NG (ANT), then check the entire GPS antenna wire from the navigation unit to the antenna only. If the wire is crushed or damaged, try a known-good antenna. If the diagnostic then reads OK, replace the original GPS antenna (see GPS ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ). If the diagnostic still reads NG (ANT), replace the navigation unit (see NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION  ).
