DTC 1801: HIP Error: Notes

NOTE:
  • Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST ).
  • This navigation DTC sets when a problem (open or short) is detected in the COMM BUS.
  • Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION  ).
  • Check for and resolve any B-CAN DTCs before troubleshooting.
  • Check any official Honda service website for any service information about the AcuraLink or software updates.
