Shift Lock Stop/Shift Lock Stop Cushion Replacement

NOTE: Make sure not to get any silicone grease on the terminal part of the connectors and switches, especially if you have silicone grease on your hands or gloves.

Remove the shift lever assembly (see SHIFT LEVER REMOVAL ).
Remove the shift lock solenoid, and disconnect the shift lock solenoid connector (see SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID REPLACEMENT ).
Remove the shift lock stop (A) and the stop cushion (B) as a set.

Apply silicone grease to the pin on the shift lever bracket, and install a new shift lock stop over the pin.
Connect the shift lock solenoid connector, and install the shift lock solenoid in the shift lever (see SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID REPLACEMENT ).
Install the shift lever assembly (see SHIFT LEVER INSTALLATION ).
