Driving Pattern
- With a completely cooled engine (one that has been off for at least 6 hours).
- Start the engine, and let it idle for at least 42 minutes or drive for at least 5 miles (7 km).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, for 10 seconds, then restart the engine and let it idle for at least 10 seconds.
- With a partially cooled engine (one that has been off for less than 6 hours).
- Start the engine, and let it idle for at least 42 minutes or drive for at least 5 miles (7 km).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode, for 3 hours then restart the engine and let it idle for at least 10 seconds.
