Audio System Symptom Troubleshooting - Error code: Check Antenna is displayed(With navigation) (2016-17)
- Check the vehicle battery condition first .
- Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.
- Problem verification:
Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
- 2. Turn on the audio system, and select the XM radio.
Is Check Antenna displayed?
YES
The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
- Determine possible failure area (XM antenna, others):
Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
- 2. Substitute a known-good AM/FM/XM/TEL/GPS antenna .
- 3. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
- 4. Turn on the audio system, and select the XM radio.
Is Check Antenna displayed?
YES
Go to step 3.
NO
Replace the original AM/FM/XM/TEL/GPS antenna.
- Tuner unit check (substitution):
Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
- 2. Substitute a known-good tuner unit , and recheck.
Does the symptom go away?
YES
Replace the original tuner unit.
NO
Replace the antenna main lead or the antenna sublead.
