3. Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact:

4. Reconnect the 37P connector to the power window switch, do the following input tests:

Cavity Wire Test condition Test: Desired result Possible cause if desired result is not obtained
4 LT BLU Under all conditions Measure the voltage to ground: There should be battery voltage.
  • Blown No. E18 (20 A) fuse in the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box
  • An open or high resistance in the wire
3 BLK In all power modes Measure the voltage to ground: There should be less than 0.2 V.
  • Poor ground (G505)
  • An open or high resistance in the ground wire

5. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

6. Disconnect the connector from the front passenger's power window switch, and do the following input tests:

NOTE:  After replacing the front passenger's power window switch, do the resetting the power window control unit .

Cavity Wire Test condition Test: Desired result Possible cause if desired result is not obtained
56 REDGRY Vehicle ON mode, connect terminals No. 4 to No. 5 (or No. 6) and terminal No. 6 (or No. 5) to body ground with a jumper wire

NOTE:  if the mirror stops moving, disconnect battery power immediately.

Check the retract actuator operation: The right mirror should retract (or extend).
  • Faulty right retract actuator
  • An open or high resistance in the wire
15 PNK Vehicle ON mode, connect terminals No. 4 and No. 15 with a jumper wire Check the right power mirror defogger operation: The right power mirror defogger should work (the inside lower edge becomes warm).
  • Faulty right power mirror defogger
  • Poor ground (G505) or an open in the ground wire
  • An open or high resistance in the wire
34 BLU Disconnect these connectors:
  • Power window master switch 37P connector
  • Left rear power window switch 14P connector
  • Right rear power window switch 14P connector
  • Moonroof control unit/motor 14P connector
Check for continuity between terminal No. 34 and power window master switch 37P connector terminal No. 36: There should be continuity. An open in the LIN (P/W) wire
Check for continuity between terminal No. 34 and left rear power window switch 14P connector terminal No. 11: There should be continuity. An open in the LIN (P/W) wire
Check for continuity between terminal No. 34 and right rear power window switch 14P connector terminal No. 11: There should be continuity. An open in the LIN (P/W) wire
Check for continuity between terminal No. 34 and moonroof control unit/motor 14P connector terminal No. 12: There should be continuity. An open in the LIN (P/W) wire
Check for continuity to ground: There should be no continuity. A short to ground in the LIN (P/W) wire
