DTC 28-21: Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor (Inside of Modulator-Control Unit) Output Signal Malfunction

• No other DTCs detected
• ABS/VSA function not in operation

Operating Condition:

• 1. Start the engine.
• 2. Test-drive the vehicle at 7 mph (11 km/h) or more for at least 20 seconds.

  (Be careful of the surrounding traffic conditions.)

• 1 drive cycle
• VSA indicator on
• Brake system indicator (amber) on

• Degrade ABS performance
• Stop VSA function
• Stop TCS function (Fade out)
• Stop hill start assist function
• Stop agile handling assist function

• VSA modulator-control unit internal failure (Yaw rate-acceleration sensor internal circuit)
