Error code: Check Antenna is displayed
NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first .
- Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Turn on the audio system, and select the XM radio.
Is Check Antenna displayed?
YES: Without navigation
The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.
YES: With navigation
The failure is duplicated, go to step 3.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
- Determine possible failure area (XM antenna, others)
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-2. Substitute a known-good XM antenna .
-3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-4. Turn on the audio system, and select the XM radio.
Is Check Antenna displayed?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Replace the original XM antenna.
- Determine possible failure area (TEL/GPS/XM antenna, others)
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-2. Substitute a known-good TEL/GPS/XM antenna .
-3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-4. Turn on the audio system, and select the XM radio.
Is Check Antenna displayed?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
Replace the original TEL/GPS/XM antenna.
- XM antenna lead check (substitution)
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-2. Substitute a known-good XM antenna lead, and recheck.
Does the symptom go away?
YES
Replace the original XM antenna lead.
NO
