DTC U128D: Left/Right Side BSI Radar Unit Lost Communication With Gauge Control Module (BSI Radar Unit)

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .

DTC (BSI)

1. Problem verification

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   - 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   - 3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   - 4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 2 seconds.

   - 5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   U128D Left side BSI radar unit lost communication with gauge control module
   U128D Right side BSI radar unit lost communication with gauge control module

   Is DTC U128D indicated?

   YES 

   Go to the multiplex integrated control system general troubleshooting - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Body Electrical, or How to Troubleshoot the Body Electrical (2018-19) . If the symptom is still present, replace the appropriate BSI radar unit .

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .
