DTC 71-07: Motor Angle Sensor (SIN/COS Signals)

• 12 volt battery 10 - 16 V

Operating Condition:

• 1.

  Start the engine.

• 2.

  Wait until the EPS indicator goes off.

• 1 drive cycle
• EPS indicator on

• Stop EPS function/assist

  (Re-diagnose at the next IG-ON)

• Open, Short to ground, or Poor connection between the EPS control unit and the EPS motor angle sensor (RESOLVER R1, R2, S1, S2, S3, S4 lines)
• EPS motor internal failure
• EPS control unit internal failure
