DTC U3000-51: Precision All Wheel Steer Control Unit Programming Error (Precision All Wheel Steer Control Unit)

NOTE: 

• Do not turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode while updating the precision all wheel steer control unit. If you turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode before completion, the precision all wheel steer control unit will be damaged.
• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .

DTC (Precision all wheel steer)

1. Precision all wheel steer control unit check (update)

   -1. Update the precision all wheel steer control unit if it does not have the latest software.

   - 2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then the ON mode.

   - 3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   Is DTC U3000-51 indicated?

   YES 

   Check for loose terminals and poor connections at the precision all wheel steer control unit. If necessary, substitute a known-good precision all wheel steer control unit , and recheck.

   NO 

   Troubleshooting is complete.
