Integrated Dynamic System

Overview 

The EPS control unit has two power assist control maps which correspond to the integrated dynamics system switch sent from the gauge control module. When the integrated dynamics system is in the "Normal" or "Econ" mode, the EPS control map is set to the "Normal", and when it is in the "Sport" or "Sport +" mode, the EPS control map is set to "Sport".

Operation to Electrical Power Steering 

The Sport map provides less computerized steering assist compared to the normal map in all the speed ranges handing more steering control to drivers.
