DTC P0602: Boot Mode (Programming Error) (A/T)

General Description

GHH157503Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.

The transmission control module (TCM) has a rewriting function that can be done in the field. The programs in the A/T CPU are the A/T control program (rewritable program) and the A/T update program (non-rewritable program). When the program rewriting process is not finished normally, such as turning off the TCM power during the rewriting process, and then turning the vehicle to the ON mode again, the A/T CPU starts according to the rewriting function program, and stores a DTC in the TCM.
