Unit Check (Quick Check): HFT-Mic
This diagnosis allows you to test the microphone. To properly check the microphone, make sure you are sitting in the driver's seat.
NOTE:
Before this diagnosis, check the response of the TALK button on the audio remote-HFL switch by the Hard Key diagnosis.
- If the Bluetooth® Connection State shows NG, replace the infotainment control unit - Refer to: Audio and Visual System Component Location Index or Audio and Visual System Component Location Index (2022 2023) .
- Press the TALK button, and within 5 seconds in a normal voice say \"testing\" toward the microphone in the roof module. The Mic Level indicator on the screen should momentarily turn green. The test is set to OK by indicating green more than 6 steps. If there is no Mic Level movement when you speak, go to: Microphone Does Not Recognize Driver's Or Front Passenger's Voice .
