Control (PCS) Circuit Inspection

NOTE: Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- EVAP canister purge valve 2P connector: disconnected
- PCM connector E (80P) : disconnected

Procedure

Perform the inspection according to the following table.


		(Disconnected) EVAP canister purge valve 2P connector female terminals	(Disconnected) PCM connector E (80P) female terminals

PCS open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω
NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
PCS shorted to ground inspection	OFF			Not shorted
