Multi View Camera Picture Inspection: Inspection

How To Use This Service Information .

You must perform the camera aiming first, before performing the picture inspection.

Before Inspection:

• Make sure the vehicle does not have an aftermarket suspension.
• Remove all cargo from the vehicle except the tool kit.
• Make sure all the tires are the correct size and set their pressures to the specifications shown on the doorjamb label.
• Clean the lens surface of each camera.
• All wheels of the vehicle should touch the ground.
• Make sure the steering wheel is pointed straight ahead and do not turn it after parking the vehicle.
• Make sure the front grille, the front bumper and the power mirrors are installed correctly.

1. Multi View Camera Picture - Inspect

   Preconditions 

   • Transmission P Position/Mode
   • Parking Brake Applied

   Procedure/Specifications 

   • The multi view camera picture inspection can be performed using the mask sheet.
     NOTE: Although some amount of deviation in the picture might be present due to the number of passengers and the vehicle's loaded state, it is not a malfunction with the system

     Place the mask sheets as shown:

     • Front camera: Placed on the left-front and right-front.
     • Rearview camera: Placed on the left-rear and right-rear.
     • Left side camera: Placed on the left-front and left-rear.
     • Right side camera: Placed on the right-front and right-rear.

   Distance Between Body and Mask Sheet 

   Position	Specifications
   A	250 mm (9.84 in)
   B	1, 000 mm (39.37 in)
   C	600 mm (23.62 in)

   Normal Condition 

   Specifications
   Deviation within half of each other (as shown on the center display)

   Result
