Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor Functional Inspection
NOTE:
Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.
Test Procedure
PCM input signal inspection
- Procedure
- Confirm the HDS [ APP Sensor A Voltage ] and [ APP Sensor B Voltage ].
- Normal Conditions
- [ APP Sensor A Voltage ] and [ APP Sensor B Voltage ] are same.
Results
- If it is normal, there is a problem with the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor.
- If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the related components.
