WARNING:
- Review the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service .
- Wait at least 3 minutes, after disconnecting the 12 volt battery terminal.
If you are replacing the front impact sensor after a deployment, refer to Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment - Refer to: SRS Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment or Airbag and Tensioner Disposal for a complete list of other parts that must also be replaced.

■ Preconditions
- 12 Volt Battery Negative Terminal Disconnected

Do the following before starting your work.

• Installation

Be careful not to bump (by impact wrench, hammer, etc.) the area around the front impact sensor.
NOTE:
- Before installing the front bumper, make sure the SRS indicator works normally.
■ After Installation
- 12 Volt Battery Negative Terminal Reconnect
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
