Body Control Module Inspection

Preconditions

NOTE:

This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.

External circuit is normal

Test Procedure

Preparation
- TCM connector A (23P) : disconnected
- Driver's power seat control unit connector A (40P) : disconnected
- Front passenger's power seat control unit connector A (40P) : disconnected*
  NOTE:
  *: With 16-way power seat
- Power tailgate control unit connector A (24P) : disconnected

Procedure

Perform the inspection according to the following table.


		(Disconnected) TCM connector A (23P) female terminals

Module internal circuit inspection	OFF		Not shorted

Results

If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the body control module.
