Alternator Performance Test: Inspection

■ Test Procedure 

• Procedure
  • Do the HDS [SCS short], and wait more than 1 minute.
  • Test the alternator with the Acura GR8 battery diagnostic station with AST module (12 volt).
    NOTE: For setup, customization, and other available features, refer to the GR8 user's manual.

• Normal Conditions
  • The test result of the diagnostic station is OK.

■ Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the alternator.
