MAP Sensor Inspection

NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.

Test Procedure

PCM output voltage inspection

Preparation
- MAP sensor connector 3P : disconnected

Procedure

Jump MAP sensor connector 3P terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with a jumper wire.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

Confirm the HDS [ MAP Sensor Voltage ].

Normal Conditions
- HDS [ MAP Sensor Voltage ] value is less than 4.49 V .

Results

If it is normal, there is a problem with the MAP sensor.
If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the related components.
