Sport Mode

The Sport Mode can be selected when the sport mode switch is pressed while in D. When the Sport Mode is selected, the SPORT indicator comes on in the gauge control module. With the Sport Mode selected, optimum driving force and engine brake performance are achieved by proactive downshifting and low gear selection. If the sport mode switch is pressed while in the Sport Mode, the mode is canceled and the SPORT indicator goes off. The Sport Mode is also canceled when the vehicle is turned to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
