NOTE: Before installing the B-pillar lower trim, make sure the SRS indicator works normally.
After Installation
- 12 Volt Battery Negative Terminal Reconnect
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.

NOTE: Before installing the B-pillar lower trim, make sure the SRS indicator works normally.
After Installation
- 12 Volt Battery Negative Terminal Reconnect
- Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
- I.-WARNING:
- Review the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service .
- Wait at least 3 minutes, after disconnecting the 12 volt battery terminal.
NOTE:If you are replacing the side impact sensor (first) after a deployment, refer to Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment - Refer to: SRS Component Replacement/Inspection After Deployment for a complete list of other parts that must also be replaced.
