Engine Will Not Start (MIL Works OK, No DTCs Set) (3.0L Engine (USA/Canada models))
Diagnostic procedure
- Troubleshoot the engine will not start, engine starts but stalls immediately, or engine is hard to start - Refer to: Fuel and Emissions Systems Symptom Troubleshooting - Engine stalls, Engine will not start - Troubleshooting without HDS snapshot/on-board snapshot(2.0L Engine) or Fuel and Emissions Systems Symptom Troubleshooting - Engine stalls, Engine will not start - Troubleshooting with HDS snapshot/on-board snapshot or Fuel and Emissions Systems Symptom Troubleshooting - Engine stalls, Engine will not start - Troubleshooting without HDS snapshot/on-board snapshot(3.0L Engine) .
- Do the automatic transmission system symptom troubleshooting .
NOTE:
Do the PCM reset - Refer to: PCM Reset
or PCM Update
in the PGM-FI System to cancel ALL INJECTORS STOP with the HDS.
