DTC P1009 : Variable Valve Timing Control (VTC) A Advance Malfunction
NOTICE:
Before you troubleshoot, review the How to Troubleshoot - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems(2.0L Engine) or How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems(3.0L Engine) .
NOTE:
- If DTC P0341 is stored at the same time as DTC P1009, troubleshoot DTC P1009 first, then recheck for DTC P0341.
- If DTC P1009 is set after replacing the VTC actuator, verify that the correct timing marks on the crankshaft pulley were used.
