   WARNING:

   Do not connect the brake pedal position switch connector with the brake pedal position switch removed. The engine may start if the start/stop button is pressed as the system interprets that the brake pedal is depressed. Unintended starting of the engine is dangerous.

   After Installation

   Key Information 

   Do the following before starting your work.

   Remove: 

   • Driver's Knee Airbag

   Lubricant Specifications

   a	Multipurpose Grease

4. D.-
   NOTE:

   Do not remove the brake pedal stroke sensor from the brake pedal.

   Key Information 

   Do the following before starting your work.

   Remove: 

   • Driver's Knee Airbag

   Removal 

   Refer to the figure 1 and 2.

   Installation 

   • Install the yoke spring (a) then install the yoke pin (b) and the lock pin (c). (Figure 3 and 4)

   Lubricant Specifications (Figure 4)

   • Install the lock pin as shown. (Figure 5)

   After Installation 

   • Brake Pedal Position Switch Adjustment
   • Sensor 0 (Zero) Position Memorization - Refer to: Electric Servo Brake System Sensor 0 (Zero) Position Memorization

   Sub-Procedure 

   Removal 

   NOTE:  The APP sensor is not available separately. Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal module.

   • Left Center Pillar Lower Trim
   • Driver's Seat
   • Center Console

   Do the following before starting your work.

   Remove: 

   • Right Center Pillar Lower Trim
   • Passenger's Seat
   • Center Console

   Do the following before starting your work.

   Remove: 

   • Both Center Pillar Lower Trim
   • Driver's Seat
   • Passenger's Seat
   • Center Console
   • Both Rear Door Sill Trim
   • Rear Seat Cushion
