- Engine Cover - Remove
- Engine Cover - Refer to: Cylinder Head Cover Area(3.0L Engine) or Cylinder Head Cover Area(2.0L Engine)
- Front Grille Cover - Remove
- Air Cleaner Housing - Remove
- Air Cleaner Housing - Refer to: Air Cleaner Area(3.0L Engine) or Air Cleaner Area(2.0L Engine)
- Park Lock - Release - Refer to: How to Release Park Lock or A/T Road Test
- Throttle Body Inlet Pipe - Remove
- Throttle Body Inlet Pipe - Refer to: Intercooler Area(3.0L Engine) or Intercooler Area(2.0L Engine)
- Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Valve - Remove
- Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Valve - Refer to: Cylinder Head Cover Area(3.0L Engine) or Cylinder Head Cover Area(2.0L Engine)
- Engine Support Hanger - Install - Refer to: Engine Support Hanger Installation(2.0L Engine) or Engine Support Hanger Installation(3.0L Engine)
- Steering Joint - Disconnect
- Engine Undercover - Remove
- Transfer Assembly Fluid - Drain
- Front Wheel - Remove
- Front Wheel (Both Sides) - Refer to: Front Brake Area(3.0L Engine) or Front Brake Area(2.0L Engine)
- Connector - Disconnect
- Exhaust Pipe A - Remove
- Transfer Cover - Remove
- Front Subframe/Steering Gearbox Area Parts - Remove/Disconnect
- Front Subframe/Steering Gearbox Area - Refer to: Front Subframe/Steering Gearbox Area(3.0L Engine) or Front Subframe/Steering Gearbox Area(2.0L Engine)

- Lower Torque Rod
- Tie-Rod End Ball Joint (Both Sides)
- Front Suspension Area Parts - Disconnect
- Front Suspension Area

- Lower Stabilizer Link Ball Joint (Both Sides)
- Damper Fork (Both Sides)
- Lower Arm Ball Joint (Both Sides)
- Front Subframe - Remove
- Front Subframe - Refer to: Front Subframe/Steering Gearbox Area(3.0L Engine) or Front Subframe/Steering Gearbox Area(2.0L Engine)
- Transmission - Support
- Support the transmission with the transmission jack.
- Front Suspension Area Parts - Remove/Disconnect
- Front Suspension Area

- Right Driveshaft Inboard Joint
- Intermediate Shaft
- Transfer/Rear Differential Area Parts - Disconnect
- Transfer/Rear Differential Area

- Propeller Shaft
- Transfer Breather Tube B
- Transfer Assembly - Remove
- All Removed Parts - Install
- Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
- Transmission - P Position/Mode - Refer to: How to Release Park Lock or A/T Road Test
- Transfer Assembly Fluid - Refill
- Wheel Alignment - Check
- VSA Sensor Neutral Position - Memorize - Refer to: VSA Modulator-Control Unit Update or VSA Sensor Neutral Position Memorization
