Mounting Parts that are Spring Loaded
- Installing a part that is spring loaded by tightening the bolt or nut only can cause damages to both the part and bolt or nut.

- Set the part to its installed position by pushing it down and install/tighten the bolt or nut by hand. Then tighten the bolt or nut to its specified torque.
- If the spring retention is high and there are instructions to do so, it is OK to install the part by tightening the bolt or nut slowly, and alternately little by little. Otherwise the part will become tilted, damaging the part or the bolt or nut.
